Interested in renting a boat for your stay at Swan Shores we know of a few boat rental companies that will deliver the boat right to our dock.
Bigfork Watersports has come highly recommended by prior guests. They rent ski boats, wave runners and pontoon boats. They also have spring special rates located at 451 Electric Avenue in downtown Bigfork, MT and dock location is located at 104 Holt Drive Bigfork phone 406-2493732
Flathead Lake Boat Company They only have pleasure craft suitable for water skiing, tubing, and general cruising. Rates are based on length of rental. Lake Level and Boat Dock availability disclaimer: The Swan lake level is highly dependent on the water flow from the Swan river. Guests are advised that the boat dock cannot be installed until the Swan river has reached its crest which ranges from late May to late June each year. The lake level will also drop which is typically during the end of the summer season. Therefore, no guarantees can be made as to the availability of the boat dock during this time of year.

Rope Swing on Loon Lake
Loon Lake is located close to Swan Laike just a 5 minutue drive from the house. This is a great place to take the kids as they have an old fashion Tom Sawyer Rope swing with a ladder where kids can climb up and jump into the lake.

Geo-Caching Sites near Swan Shores Lodge: Geocaching (pronounced geo-cashing) is a worldwide game of hiding and seeking treasure. A geocacher can place a geocache in the world, pinpoint its location using GPS technology and then share the geocache's existence and location online. Anyone with a GPS device can then try to locate the geocache as we have a few really good GeoCash spots within 5 miles and one in the middle Swan Lake. Geocaching is great fun for families that enjoy hiking and what can be more exciting than to be searching for a treasure!
